Creamy Baked Chicken with Cheese

These ingredients make a rich, creamy cheesy chicken dish. Here's a simple way to prepare it:

Creamy Garlic Parmesan Mozzarella Chicken

Ingredients

  • 4–6 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 tsp paprika

  • 1 cup heavy cream (or half-and-half)

  • 1/2 cup chicken broth

  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 2–3 cloves garlic, minced

  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken

    • Pat the chicken breasts dry.

    • Season both sides with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.

  2. Cook the chicken

    • Heat 1–2 tablespoons of oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

    • Add the chicken and cook for 5–7 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature of 165°F/74°C).

    • Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.

  3. Prepare the sauce

    • Reduce the heat to medium.

    • Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.

    • Pour in the chicken broth and scrape up any browned bits from the bottom of the pan.

    • Stir in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.

  4. Add the cheese

    • Gradually whisk in the Parmesan cheese until melted.

    • Add the mozzarella cheese and stir until the sauce is smooth and creamy.

  5. Finish the dish

    • Return the chicken to the skillet and spoon the sauce over the top.

    • Simmer for 2–3 minutes to heat everything through.

  6. Serve

    • Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.

Serving suggestions: This creamy chicken pairs well with pasta, mashed potatoes, rice, or steamed vegetables.
